Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid disodium salt CAS No.:6381-92-6, also known as EDTA-2Na, is the most important salt of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid,and is an important Chelating Agent. EDTA-2Na can also be used as a substitute for chemical copper plating, gold plating, lead tin alloy plating, electrochemical polishing of steel parts, and solutions before silver plating of copper parts. EDTA-2Na is also used as detergent, liquid soap, shampoo, agricultural chemical spray, bleaching fixer, water purification agent, PH regulator, retarder, etc. In the chemical reduction initiation system for styrene butadiene rubber polymerization, disodium EDTA is used as an active agent to chelate ferrous ions and control the polymerization reaction rate. Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid disodium can prevent discoloration, deterioration, turbidity caused by metals, and oxidation loss of vitamin C, and can also improve the antioxidant properties of oils and fats (trace metals such as iron and copper in oils and fats can promote oil oxidation).
