Miconazole Nitrate CAS No.:22832-87-7,its synonyms are as belows: Miconazole, Miconazole, its Molecular formula: C18H15Cl4N3O4 and Molecular weight: 479.14m EINECS No.:245-256-6; its Appearance is white to off-white crystal powder;Miconazole nitrate is an antifungal medicine, commonly known as Daktarin, which is widely used to treat tinea infections. It acts by inhibiting the biosynthesis of ergosterol, a key component of fungal cell membranes, thereby damaging the membrane structure and increasing membrane permeability. This causes leakage of intracellular components and inhibits glucose utilization, preventing nutrient uptake and ultimately leading to the death of fungal cells.

It is indicated for the treatment of tinea corporis, tinea cruris, tinea manus, tinea pedis, tinea versicolor, as well as fungal paronychia, vaginal infections and secondary infections caused by yeasts (such as Candida spp.) and Gram-positive bacteria. It is also effective against otitis externa and bacterial skin infections.
