Carbohydrazide， Also known as 1,3-diamino urea, it is a white columnar crystal with a molecular weight of 90.08 and a molecular formula of CH6N4O. Its melting point is 153-154 ℃, easily soluble in water and the aqueous solution is alkaline, but difficult to dissolve in organic solvents such as ethanol. It exhibits strong reducibility in chemical properties, reacts with acids to form salts, and can be converted into highly explosive carbonyl azides in the presence of nitrous acid.
